Arpit is an investment professional with over 15 years of experience in the equity markets. He joined Ashmore in March 2022 as a Co-Portfolio Manager. Prior to this, he served as a Fund Manager at IDFC Asset Management Company, managing the IDFC Balanced Advantage Fund and IDFC Large Cap Fund. Arpit began his career in equity markets as an analyst with UTI AMC in 2009. He holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode (IIM-K), and is a CFA charterholder.

Rashi is the Head of Ashmore’s India office and is responsible for managing long-only India equity mandates. She joined Ashmore India in 2007 as a Senior Research Analyst, became a Co-Portfolio Manager in 2011, and was appointed Lead Portfolio Manager and Chair of the India sub-Investment Committee in January 2022. With over 20 years of experience in the Indian equity markets, Rashi excels at integrating a macro top-down perspective with rigorous bottom-up analysis to generate actionable investment ideas. Prior to Ashmore, she held multiple roles at Kotak Institutional Equities and Motilal Oswal between 2001 and 2007. She holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from Hindu College, Delhi University, and an MBA from the Owen School of Management, Vanderbilt University, USA.
