Alder Capital

Hemant founded Alder Capital and serves as its managing partner. He has advised some of the biggest domestic and international institutional investors over his more than 20 years in the capital markets, including 15 years in institutional equities research. After eleven years with the Axis Capital team (formerly Enam Securities), he was appointed Executive Director of Consumer Equity Research. He has won two straight awards from Reuters StarMine in the consumer staples category and was chosen by the Wall Street Journal as India's leading analyst for the home and personal care industry. In 2000, Hemant earned an MBA from the University of New South Wales' Australian Graduate School of Management.

Rakhi has worked in risk management, private equity, investment banking, and asset management for more than 19 years. She began her career at Goldman Sachs in New York, where she developed counterparty risk hedging methods. She was instrumental in consumer sector mandates at Enam Securities, one of the top investment banking and financial market intermediaries. She oversaw investor relations and fund portfolio reporting in her role as director of operations at Matrix Partners India. She was recognized by AIWMI as one of India's Top 100 Women in Finance in 2020. Rakhi obtained her computer science degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, her economics degree from Lady Shri Ram College, and her master's degree in financial engineering from Columbia University in New York.
