Vikas Khemani

Vikas brings with him over 23 years of rich and diverse experience in the capital markets, having held leadership positions that shaped the industry landscape. Most recently, he served as the CEO of Edelweiss Securities Ltd, where he spent 17 years incubating and scaling multiple businesses to leadership positions, including Institutional Equities and Equity Research. His strategic vision and executional excellence have been instrumental in driving growth, innovation, and organizational transformation within the capital markets ecosystem.

With a strong business acumen and a deep understanding of the financial services industry, Vikas has cultivated enduring relationships with Corporate India and key market participants. His insights and thought leadership have contributed meaningfully to various industry forums, and he continues to play an active role in shaping policy and governance standards. He is associated with several prestigious bodies such as the CII National Council on Corporate Governance, the FICCI Capital Markets Committee, and the Executive Council of the Bombay Management Association.

Beyond his professional achievements, Vikas is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), a global community of entrepreneurs and CEOs. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to the service sector, he was honored with the Young Professional Achievers Award by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) in 2014.
