Gaurav joined DSP in March 2014 as part of the Investment Alternatives business. A postgraduate in management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, he began his career at Goldman Sachs’ London office within the Financing Group of the Investment Banking Division. In 2007, he transitioned to the Goldman Sachs Principal Strategies division, where he specialized in European equities. Later, in 2011, Gaurav joined Dalton Capital, where he established and managed a long-short fund focused on Indian equities, further strengthening his expertise in alternative investment strategies.

Natraj joined the DSP Investment Team in November 2023 to develop and lead long-only focused equity strategies. With over 25 years of extensive investment experience, he has managed a wide range of portfolios — including 12 years in India-focused bottom-up strategies, 5 years in Global Emerging Markets, 3 years in GCC-focused investments, and 2 years managing an ESG fund. He holds a PGDBA in Finance and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, bringing deep analytical insight and a disciplined approach to portfolio management.

Co-Fund Manager

Surya joined DSP in July 2011 as part of the Product Management Group. A postgraduate from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (Class of 2008), he began his career at Anand Rathi’s Private Wealth Management Desk. In January 2014, he transitioned to DSP’s Equity Team, where he successfully managed the DSP Technology.com Fund (July 2015–July 2017) and the DSP A.C.E. Fund (December 2017–July 2021). Since August 2022, Surya has been an integral part of the AIF Team, contributing his expertise in equity strategy and portfolio management.
