He holds a master's degree in commerce from Mumbai University. In 2017, he received an honorary doctorate from KEISIE University. As a teenager, he developed an interest in the derivatives market. He was always eager to learn the details, the calculative angles, the mathematics of it, and the dynamics of the market, especially leverage. With the drive of passion and a commitment to pursuing all of his goals, Mr. Bansal set out to make a name for himself on the business landscape of India through the rapid proliferation of the Abans Group. He is just beginning his 30s but has had an innate understanding of the different sectors of the financial markets. All of this has led to the Abans Group effectively and successfully serving as a dealer in equity derivatives, currencies, and commodities on both the domestic and international stages. Today, Abans Group has resulted in financial services and solutions worldwide for clientele in India, the UAE, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, the United Kingdom, and Mauritius.

He has a postgraduate degree in business administration from S K School of Business Management (2001-03). He has 17 years of experience in the finance industry. In his last position at Standard Chartered, he worked in a variety of positions. He began his career at Standard Chartered as a senior investment advisor and eventually rose to associate director and cluster head of wealth advisory. He also spent nearly 2 years there as a product manager for alternate products. He then worked as a director and head of premium business, managing the PMS and private banking business along with Standard Chartered Securities (India) Ltd. Presently, he is leading the Wealth and Investment Management business at Abans Group of Companies. He previously also worked at various other companies, such as Aditya Birla Group, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Citigroup.

With over 23 years of experience in the Indian capital markets in the areas of fund management, equity research, and portfolio management, Kaushik has worked with some of the leading portfolio management companies in India, including Reliance Wealth, Karvy, KR Choksey, and Sharekhan. In his last role, he was a leading portfolio manager managing several discretionary strategies with the Midcap Portfolio Management Strategy PM, which has a strong track record of outperforming the benchmark index over lengthy periods of time. He has also worked at mutual funds, including Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund and Peerless Mutual Fund. At Peerless Mutual Fund he had dual roles, as the key fund manager for equities and the head of equities. He completed his Finance MBA at the Canadian School of Management and graduated from Mumbai University.

Drawing on more than 16 years at leading firms, Mayank has envisioned and established the Enterprise Risk Management desk at Abans. Mayank has had various roles in risk management, credit research, MIS, and predictive modeling and firmly believes that good risk management is, above all, an enabling business process. Mayank holds an undergraduate degree in engineering and is also equipped with a postgraduate degree in finance from Mumbai University.
