Yashhtej Industries (India) Limited was founded in 2018 and is involved in the production of soybean de-oiled cake (or "DOC") and the extraction of soybean crude oil from soybeans using a solvent extraction method. The solid residue or by-product left over after soybean oil is extracted is called DOC, or soy meal, and it is high in minerals and proteins.
The company works in the business-to-business (B2B) sector, which means that it supplies the crude oil to clients that are involved in refining.
The business has also ventured into the production and distribution of solar energy.
