In 2008, GK Energy Limited offered engineering, procurement, and commissioning ("EPC") services of solar-powered agricultural water pump systems under Component B of the Central Government's Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha Evam Utthan Mahabhiyan scheme (the "PM-KUSUM Scheme") as gauged by the number of solar-powered pump systems installed under the PMKUSUM Scheme between January 1, 2022, and December 3, 2024.
The company provides farmers with an end-to-end single-source solution for survey, design, supply, assembly and installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of solar pump systems.
GK Energy has in place at present an asset-light business model. The company procures solar panels, pumps, and other components of solar pump systems under the "GK Energy" brand from various specialised suppliers.
As of November 30, 2024, The firm rents 13 warehouses in three states. GK Energy employed 60 as of November 30, 2024.
